New Kind of Restaurant:

We have a new cross-culture restaurant, which recently opened in town. It’s a Chinese Mexican place called Fernando’s Wok. It sounded pretty exciting – maybe too exciting. I tried their special Sweet and Sour Turbulent Chicken Casadia - to go. It was and I did!

Cave Cuisine:
Our earliest ancestors were faced with the problem of going where no one had gone before. Therefore, he had the task of eating foods that no one had ever eaten before. Imagine the surprise when he found that chewing on poison ivy made his teeth itch. Or, what it was like to eat a whole cucumber and burp like a foghorn – cave man invents the tuba. Then imagine his surprise when he stuffs himself with wild beans – combine that with a cucumber on the side, and cave man invents musical harmony. Bring in enough friends and they could have an orchestra.

Life is much too important to be taken seriously.”
