Contradictions:

          Through the years, I’ve created for myself an image of a bungling knucklehead. Actually, I’m probably not as big a fool that many people think I am. Compared to Uncle Ed I’m a raging genius. Avon is quick to confirm that it is so, but she also points out that I am not nearly as bright as I think I am.
