A Creative Writing
Lesson:
I’m often asked, “Is it hard to write a book?” The answer is
no. Writing in the 21st Century takes three main ingredients… #1.
You will need a computer…with a keyboard (working without the keyboard makes
for a long day). #2. You will need
plenty of caffeine. Coffee is the most convenient delivery method. You can take
it intravenously, but that leaves holes in your body. #3. You will need some imagination. This last
part is kind of important, and it’s not readily available at most major
retailers.
So when you’re all ready to go, all you have to do is sit
down at your computer with a cup of coffee and start making stuff up…. That’s
it.
Oh yeah… one more thing… Time. You’ll need to set aside a
little time to stir those ingredients well and let them simmer… It usually
takes me about 500 hours to write a western. Good
Luck.
I'll try to post on here 2 or 3 times a week. If you want to be notified when a post is up...
